Blaster Master has built an enviable reputation for delivering a highly professional, powerful, specialised and fully insured mobile blast cleaning service. Our blast cleaning service can be applied to a variety of surfaces, delicate to robust, inside and out.
Fast, effective and affordable, blasting restores surfaces to their former glory, and cleans and prepares them for new coatings, on time and on budget. We are based in Plymouth and work across the whole of the South West.
The team at Blaster Master throw ourselves into small, one-off jobs with the same veracity, skill and enthusiasm as they apply to every large project. We have the power, the know-how and the flexibility to tailor equipment to suit specific needs, whether a blasting solution is required for a single wheel or a viaduct.
Whatever the renovation, most materials benefit by going back to a sound base. There is no better preparation than a blast-cleaned surface, especially before an expensive quality coating is applied.
Preparation is more than just the removal of old or loose coating and then slapping on a layer of ‘whatever is handy’! Blaster Master provides a diverse range of services. These include the removal of paint, rust, mill scale, grime build-up, marine growth and many other coatings as well as the exposure of aggregate in concrete.
Blaster Master specialises in the removal of paints and anti-fouling from G.R.P (glass fibre). The right choice of equipment, nozzle, hoses, pressure and medium/fine are all essential. Our experience makes Blaster Master the safest choice.
Blaster Master specialises in a wide range of mobile blast cleaning & treatments to include all metals, stone, wood & glass fibre, paint & anti-fouling removal, metal spraying, power washing, airless spraying & industrial painting.
We offer control and power for even the toughest jobs, down to the delicate details, and typically undertake work on ships & boats, barn complexes, houses, inside & outside walls & floors, beams, timbers, stone, concrete, steel structures, trucks & cars, chassis, bodies, wheels, fire places & gates.
Whether it’s delicate restoration work, large steel structures, small one-off jobs, large areas of concrete/steel or stonework, they all receive the same care and attention to detail. The quality of our work is to the highest standards and all materials used are fully traceable.
Plans have been drawn up to repair two historical hangars, once part of an air base where TE Lawrence, better known as Lawrence of Arabia, was stationed. The seaplane hangars at the former RAF Mount Batten near Plymouth, Devon, date from 1917 and have listed status for protection due to their significance.
The hangars were home to seaplanes during both world wars, including the Sunderland flying boat in World War Two. TE Lawrence became famous after his mission in the Middle East inspired Arab tribes to fight against the Ottoman Empire in World War One.
The base remained a defence establishment until the 1980s, and the buildings are described on the National Heritage List for England as “an important survival of early aviation structures.”
Blaster Master SW Are proud to be involved with the restoration of these historic buildings and has been contracted to restore the building using our mobile blasting equipment along with our knowledge of Epoxy coatings.
